How are random Yellow colors generated?

For every random generator mode on our website, we have a set of constraints specified in the OKHSL color space.

The constraints used for Yellow colors are:

Color Channel (OKHSL)Range
Hue85° - 105°
Saturation70% - 100%
Lightness80% - 90%

This range of Hue produces a Yellow color, the Saturation is limited to high values to produce a vibrant shade, while the Lightness is limited to very high values to produce a realistic shade of Yellow.
